A friend and I were discussing race in comics, and an Asian-American character came up that she hadn't known about. This irks me: sometimes, people see the need to warn for queer content in fiction or art they post in slash communities.

1. Queerness is hardly triggery material and really shouldn't need a warning at all
2. One would think that people frequenting a slash comm would anticipate such content prior to reading its content ( Read more... )
